The sidebar consists of the search bar, collections, folder tree, and tags. The settings button is also located on the sidebar.
Collections
All Bookmarks is the only collection that is always visible. It appears on top and above the folders. The rest of the collections are only visible if there are bookmarks in it and appear at the bottom of the sidebar.
All Bookmarks
All bookmarks that are not archived.
Pinned
All pinned bookmarks.
Uncategorized
Bookmarks that are in the root folder.
Archived
Soft deleted bookmarks.
Folders
You can create any amount of folders with any amount of subfolders you want in the sidebar. Optionally, folders can have a color and icon.
- To create a folder in root, use the ”+” button next to the folder header.
- You can collapse/expand the folder section by clicking the header.
- You can edit, delete, move, and create a subfolder by right-clicking on one.
- You can also double-click a folder name to rename it.
- Folders can be dragged to new positions to change hierarchy (the will stay in alphabetical order”).
- When dragging a bookmark to a folder, you can drag it to the Folder header to put it in root.
- Folders can be viewed on each bookmark.
Tags
Tags are a way to organize bookmarks across folders. Selecting a tag from the sidebar will filter the currently viewed folder or collection by tag. More than one tag can be selected to filter.
- To create a tag, use the ”+” button next to the tag header.
- You can collapse/expand the tag section by clicking the header.
- You can edit or delete a tag by right-clicking a tag or by clicking the ”…” button next to a tag.
- Tags can be viewed on each bookmark.
